New Resource: Latin Finite State Morphology

06.06.2016

Uwe Springmann and Helmut Schmid have published LatMor, a comprehensive finite-state morphology of Latin that is based on Dietmar Najock's pioneering work from the 1980s. LatMor covers more than 84,000 lemmata and generates over 2.4 million inflected forms (excluding numbers and clitic forms) with a total of over 5.5 million analyses. LatMor processes over 50,000 words per second on a standard desktop PC.
